Special thanks to Trailhead in Kingston who has selected the Gananoque Provincial Wildlife Area Trail Project as a recipient of the 2014 and 2015 EcoAward. EcoAward funds will be used to support trail work and to produce a GPWA map.

We hope that the GPWA Trail Project will lead to greater use of the area by Kingston/Gananoque/1000 Islands residents and visitors.

About the Trail Project

GPWA offers over 20 kilometers of trails, but the trails are currently poorly marked, and littered with fallen trees and overgrown brush. The GPWA Trail Project is an effort to restore the current trail system for use of residents and visitors to the Kingston/Gananoque/1000 Islands area.
